Reflecting on 2024

2024 was a year of meaningful milestones for the Expat Center Zeeland. We worked closely with participating municipalities in Zeeland, the Province of Zeeland, our affiliated partners, and stakeholders, while also fostering connections with the international community in Zeeland.

Together with approximately 550 internationals and more than 30 affiliated partners and stakeholders, we celebrated the importance of internationals and their families during our 2024 Annual Event.

We also participated in various campaigns, celebrated the opening of the new Sluis, organized informational sessions on crucial topics like taxation, and hosted a successful financial event that was well-received. This year, we welcomed new partners, enabling us to better serve and respond to the needs of the international community.

Our collaboration with HZ University of Applied Sciences and University College Roosevelt (UCR) was another key factor in our success, helping international students familiarize themselves with the region and providing them with a great start in our province.

As we close 2024, we look forward to 2025 with great enthusiasm. The coming year will focus on expanding our services and broadening our target groups. We are excited about the arrival of the IND (Immigration and Naturalization Service) and further developing our services for the international community. We remain committed to enhancing the experience of all internationals and their families in Zeeland and will work closely with new and existing partners and stakeholders to achieve these goals.

We want to thank all our partners, the participating municipalities in Zeeland, businesses, and everyone involved for their dedication and collaboration over the past year. Together, we ensure that Zeeland is not only a beautiful place to live but also a region where internationals truly feel at home.

Here’s to another year of collaboration, connection, and growth!
