New
Starting January 1, 2026, third-country nationals will only be able to register in the Non-residents Records Database (RNI) at two designated locations in the Netherlands:
- Breda
- Venlo
This is a change from the current system, where non-residents can register at any of the 19 RNI desks. For more information check: RvIG.
* You should register in the RNI (Non-residents Records Database) if you are staying in the Netherlands for less than 4 months or if you live abroad but need a Dutch citizen service number (BSN).
