Talent Service Zeeland
Many employers are struggling to find staff, but especially in Zeeland. Employers in the region face significant challenges, which is why a growing number of companies is looking for suitable candidates outside the province. But why go through this process alone? Why not collaborate for greater impact and lower costs?
To assist employers in finding workers from outside Zeeland, save money, and increase the chances of success, Talent Service Zeeland has been established. Companies with similar job openings, such as for ICT professionals, operators, or accountants, can benefit from working together to find the right candidates. This way, costs can be shared, and more potential employees can be reached. This approach is called "bundled recruitment." It also prevents candidates from outside Zeeland who may not choose one particular company from disappearing from the radar entirely. They might be a great fit for another employer. Together, we can expand the talent pool. If employers in Zeeland only search locally, the scarcity of workers simply shifts from one company to another, without solving the broader issue in the region.
Another advantage of Talent Service Zeeland’s approach is the personal assistance offered to interested candidates regarding living and working in Zeeland. Moving to a new region is a significant step, with many considerations—such as where a partner will work, where to live, and which school or sports club to choose. Talent Service Zeeland helps remove these barriers, making it easier for people to move to the province. They also leverage existing good initiatives, such as collaborating with Expat Center Zeeland. This partnership provides support to internationals and further strengthens the overall efforts. These initiatives complement each other beautifully, and a great collaboration has formed over time. By joining forces, we can strengthen the Zeeland job market!
Talent Service Zeeland is an initiative of the foundation De Zeeuwse Connectie, known for ZeeuwseVacaturebank.nl, and is supported by subsidies from the RegioDeal, the province of Zeeland, and the municipality of Terneuzen, as well as contributions from Zeeland employers.
In addition to recruitment projects for accountants, dentists, engineers, and technicians, activities are now underway to find ICT professionals. For more information, visit www.talentservicezeeland.nl.
