With support from the Zeeland International Center, guest speakers from Portugal and Panama also shared their experiences with cultural adaptation and intercultural communication. - English-taught sustainability class at UCR
Students strengthened both their understanding of Sustainable Development and their English skills. A clear example of how collaboration within Zeeland enhances international competences. - MBO conference ‘Internationalisation – let’s make it happen’
Scalda colleagues joined workshops and exchanged experiences with education professionals from across the Netherlands. - Cultural Connections: meeting with students from Tanzania
Students from Zanzibar, who were visiting HZ University of Applied Sciences, took part in the Cultural Awareness class of Scalda’s technical students. The conversations about culture, expectations and diversity took place in an informal setting.
All in all, the Week of the International Experience showed how diverse internationalisation is, not only during a dedicated theme week, but throughout the entire year. In lessons, through collaboration with institutions such as HZ and UCR, Zeeland International Centre and thanks to international guest speakers and partner institutions abroad, Scalda continues building strong global skills.
