NIGHT OF THE NIGHT, 28th of October
Let the dark be dark and discover how beautiful the night is during the Night of the Night. This is an annual event organized by the Dutch Nature and Environment Federations. During the Night of the Night, events are organized throughout the country in the dark. Traditionally, the Night of the Night is held on the night when winter time starts.
The Night of the Night aims to make people aware of light pollution and the possibilities of reducing it. Hundreds of companies and municipalities turn off lights of buildings and advertising lights.
