Situated in the heart of Middelburg, UCR fosters a small international community, admitting around 200 students annually to maintain its intimate atmosphere. Here, students aren't lost in overcrowded lecture halls; instead, classes are interactive, with an average class size of 21 students. This stimulates a quick camaraderie among classmates, making it easy to connect with peers. Moreover, each student resides in one of the four campus locations in downtown Middelburg, ensuring proximity to the university and fellow students, so that the sense of community extends beyond the classroom. Students find themselves embraced by a supportive community that extends far beyond academic pursuits. This community is truly unique and diverse, with 70% of students and staff coming from non-Dutch backgrounds.
